UNFINISHED HOMES
Nearly one in three homes green-lit to be built in england during the past five years have not been completed, Shelter has found.
More than 320,000 homes have yet to be built despite having been granted planning permission.
TEA TAKEOVER
Organic tea brand English Tea Shop has bought east London-based Joe’s Tea Company and said it will now be able to take its range of tea blends and infusions to a wider pool of stockists and consumers.
£4M HOME
Upmarket wellies and clothing firm Joules is buying a new head office in Market harborough after agreeing a deal to pay £4.4m for a 30,000 square foot office building. The property, known as Compass house, is next to Joules’ existing head office and will become its new headquarters.

A high- quality 126-carat diamond has been uncovered by Gem Diamonds from its mine in Lesotho, Africa.
A 104- carat diamond and a 151carat yellow diamond were found at the mine last month.

Tech minor Eagle Eye has announced a two-year contract with Asda, which will see the supermarket giant use its digital promotion technology. eagle eye’s technology allows Asda to digitally manage its offers and rewards.
FLYING HIGH
Budget airline EasyJet saw passengers increase 11.3pc year- on-year last month to 7.2pc. Meanwhile, the firm’s load factor – the percentage of maximum passengers its planes carry on average – rose to 94.8pc from 94.1pc in June 2016.
