Try these for starters: fish and chips, steak and kidney pie, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, full english breakfast, treacle pudding, shepherd’s pie, faggots, jellied eels, toad-in-the-hole, sausage and mash, english mustard, pickled onions, dundee cake, haggis, kippers, jam and marmalade.
Criticism of our culinary traditions is too much to swallow!
