BROADBAND PRICE WAR

-

TALKTALK is mounting a television and broadband price war as it seeks to rebuild its business after 2015’s hack attack.

The telecoms firm yesterday revealed it had brought in 20,000 customers in the three months to June 30, continuing a surge in growth earlier this year. It came as it announced a broadband and TV bundle, including Sky Sports, that it claimed was the lowest-priced in Britain. The growth was in stark contrast to the 9,000 customers it lost over the same period last year, when it was still reeling from the hack that saw it lose the personal data of about 157,000 people.
