Unappealing parking
NOW private company Indigo has won a court battle to make nurses pay fines of thousands of pounds for parking at the hospital where they work (Mail), I don’t hold out much hope for my case.
In February I over-ran the time limit while collecting my partner from a cardiac unit after she had been rushed in by ambulance the previous day.
I appealed, but got no response until I received a summons in June. I later found my appeal had been dismissed in May, but no one had informed me and I was no longer allowed to pay the initial fine of £65.
I have sent 12 emails and letters to try to resolve this, but to no avail. ROBERT HULME, Burnley, Lancs.
