Morata flies in... and then off to Singapore
ALVARO MORATA is expected to join his new Chelsea team-mates in Singapore next week. Morata flew into London yesterday from Real Madrid’s Los Angeles base and met up with wife Alice Campello who jetted in from Spain. Morata will have a medical before completing his move. The Spain striker will become Chelsea’s record signing in a £58million deal which could rise to £70m. Antonio Conte’s squad are in Beijing ahead of tomorrow’s friendly against Arsenal in the Bird’s Nest Stadium. They fly to Singapore after the match for games against Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, when Morata will have the chance to make his debut.
