Trapped at your desk? Give chair yoga a go. all you need is a chair, without wheels. If you are short, pop some yoga blocks under your feet to give give yourself a firm foundation.
CAT COW STRETCH
SIT on a chair with hands on knees. Inhale. Arch spine and roll shoulders down and back. Then exhale, round spine and drop your chin to your chest, let your head come forward. Continue moving between the two moves for five breaths.
EXTENDED SIDE ANGLE
SIT straight and bend forwards. Bring your left hand to the floor and twist to the right on an inhale, bringing your right arm and your gaze up to the ceiling. Hold for several breaths. Relax as you exhale, then repeat on the other side.
PIGEON
SIT straight on a chair. Bring your right ankle to rest on your left thigh, keeping the knee in line with your ankle as much as possible. Hold for three breaths. Repeat with the left leg up.
