I find it a real shame that one of the best front players in the Premier League may have to leave.

Chelsea looked rudderless against Burnley without Costa, Pedro, Hazard and Matic — who has somehow been allowed to leave and strengthen a rival team. Whatever happens, the Costa issue must be resolved quickly. Chelsea players are starting to sympathise with him — they may well be worrying that they could be placed in a similar situation.

Conte needs to have a good look at himself and take charge of the situation.
