... but we STILL haven’t got the hang of suncream
IT’S an enduring British tradition: The sun puts his hat on, we take our clothes off ... and it all ends very, very painfully.
Lobster-red unfortunates took to social media yesterday and shared the consequences of venturing out unprotected in the heatwave. One showed off her sore-looking behind and explained her pain via various hashtags such as #cantsitdown.
Another bemoaned her friends’ advice after they insisted it would be fine to nip out with no sunblock but she came home pink.
And one woman showed her red shoulders after a stint outside and said: ‘When you’re pale and sit in the English sun for 20 minutes.’
