RAFA DEVISES TACTICS FROM HIS SICK BED

NEWCASTLE boss Rafa Benitez has spent the last few days poring over video clips of Swansea after being too unwell to travel to Tyneside. The Spaniard (below) is at home on the Wirral recovering from surgery to an infected hernia. He has been trying to make it to Newcastle all week but admitted defeat on Thursday and asked his driver to turn back. It is unlikely he will take charge of the team tomorrow. Assistant boss Miguel Moreno said: ‘He is still working from home. Our analyst is preparing him clips of Swansea. He’s been watching for strengths and weaknesses.’
