Get him! New photo of ‘Putney Pusher’

DETECTIVES trying to catch a jogger who pushed a woman in front of a bus have released this new image of the man – four months after the attack.

The close-up was taken from CCTV on a double-decker that swerved to avoid the woman, missing her head by inches.

After publicising the 7.40am assault on Putney Bridge in west London on May 5, police received a flood of calls about the socalled Putney Pusher. But despite wrongly arresting two men, they are still no closer to finding the mystery runner.

Yesterday, they appealed for several anonymous callers to get back in touch after they gave possible names for the suspect, who has brown hair and eyes and is thought to be in his thirties.

Bus driver Oliver Salbris, 45, said the jogger deliberately attacked the 33-year-old woman, adding: ‘If I hadn’t swerved, I would have smashed her head.’
