Out of the mouths of babes

ON HOLIDAY with my daughter and grandchildren, two-year-old Phoebe had been testing the patience of her mum and big brother Ben. In order to cheer her up, I complimented her on her new pretty striped T-shirt and told her how nautical she looked.
