HELP on the high street

-

WHEN James Ashwell’s mother, Fay, was diagnosed with early-onset dementia, he realised how difficult it was to find products to help maintain her independence. So he set up the Unforgettable.org website that helps make life easier for both the person with the condition and their carer.

And this year, LloydsPharmacy teamed up with Unforgettable to bring many of these brilliant products to the high street for the first time. Much of the information in this pullout comes from Unforgettable’s Family Guide to Dementia.

From day clocks with time orientation, fun puzzles and practical, unbreakable crockery, to the Shining Star Cube (£18.99), which helps soothe people to sleep, and the Buttons and Beads Fiddle Muff (£30), which helps calm them down, there’s certain to be something to make your life easier – and theirs better.
