Afternoon bore
I HAVE enjoyed the Afternoon Play on Radio 4 for years, but I have decided to stop tuning in because I object to being educated instead of being entertained.
Those who select the plays choose subjects that encourage us to understand the plight of asylum seekers, ethnic minorities and other politically correct issues.
Where is the entertainment value? When can I turn on the radio and hear a good story or mystery without being preached at?
