The Bunnies bound free

-

Now that Hugh Hefner is dead, what will happen to the Playboy Mansion, that petting zoo in LA where every quasi famous demi-perv in Southern California went to party with the pick of the Bunnies?

I don’t mean Piers Morgan, who wrote excitedly yesterday of once meeting Mr Hefner in the ‘lascivious bowels of his legendary mansion’, which must have been quite a moment for them both.

Rather like Livingstone and Stanley, I imagine, only underground and with better quality margaritas.

Actually, FYI, the mansion has already been sold. A billionaire’s son who lives next door bought it last year, with the proviso that Mr Hefner could carry on renting the property until his death. Now the place will have to be gutted and fumigated. Bunnies who lived there have said that the Mansion was filthy, while 120 people fell ill following an outbreak of

Legionella pneumophila in one of the whirlpool hot tubs in those lascivious bowels a few years ago.

Maybe Piers is on to something after all.

My real worry is, what is going to happen to all the Bunnies? will they be set free, like battery hens liberated from the egg farm? Maybe like women in Saudi Arabia they now will be allowed to drive — but only under supervision and if a male relative is with them at all times.

whatever, I wish them all luck, and hope they bound free.
