TO MARK his 70th birthday, actor Larry Lamb embarks on a road trip along some of our national parks’ most spectacular cycle routes, accompanied by his presenter son, George Lamb. The Londoners (pictured right)

begin by exploring the Yorkshire Dales, where they are soon ticking rock climbing, fly-fishing and ferret racing off their bucket list. ‘It’s great to do these things together,’ beams Larry, clearly enjoying the fact that while his wheezing son brings up the rear, using nothing but puff and pedal power, he is gliding along on an electric bicycle.
