The strongman who took row over a badly parked car into his own hands
WHEN a neighbour blocked his aunt’s drive in a parking row, part-time strongman Hakan Acar took a hands-on approach.
Already a dab hand at hefting giant tractor tyres and pulling lorries in local contests, footage shows the 23-year-old security guard simply lifting the front of the Vauxhall Corsa – and rolling it away.
But Mr Acar – who is known as ‘The Tulk’, short for Turkish Hulk – has been accused of criminal damage following the feat. He said: ‘I’ve pulled eight-and-a-half-ton trucks before so a one-ton Corsa wasn’t going to be a problem.’
The row began when Mr Acar’s aunt, Abi Mustafa, parked opposite her house in Luton, Bedfordshire. In retaliation, neighbours blocked her drive. They have refused to comment.
A Bedfordshire Police spokesman said: ‘PCSOs will continue to engage with both parties to work towards a resolution.’
