Getting her glow back, Cheryl the new mum
TWO years ago her worryingly slim figure provoked serious questions about her health.
But motherhood has clearly done wonders for Cheryl, despite her claim that her beauty regime has ‘gone out of the window’ since her baby arrived.
With her long hair in loose curls, the 34-year-old singer showed off a healthy glow in the South of France, where she is judging this year’s X Factor hopefuls with Simon Cowell.
Back in 2015 she wore a similar black crop top and wide-legged trousers at the auditions in Manchester but the difference in her appearance is striking.
Cheryl, who was married to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini at the time, looked alarmingly thin and there was widespread concern about her health. She divorced the French restaurateur last October and is now in a relationship with former One Direction singer Liam Payne, 24. The couple became parents for the first time when son, Bear, was born in March.
Speaking for the first time about motherhood last month, Cheryl told This Morning: ‘Since becoming a mum, my beauty regime has actually gone out of the window.
‘It’s just been recently that I’ve had time to start applying it again and it’s been lovely actually. I went out for dinner a few weeks ago and it was strange to see myself made up again but lovely at the same time.’
Cheryl also shared her top beauty trick: ‘You don’t always get time to moisturise. When you have a quick bath... while they’re napping...put bath oil in with you.’
