Levy: I want Poch to stay for 15 years

- By MATT BARLOW

DANIEL LEVY wants Mauricio Pochettino to resist the allure of European giants such as Real Madrid and devote the next 15 years of his career to Tottenham. Pochettino has turned Spurs into a Premier League force during his three-and-a-halfyear tenure, and ahead of their Champions League clash against Real tomorrow, chairman Levy has said that Pochettino would find it more fulfilling to stay at Tottenham. ‘I would love nothing more than Mauricio to be our manager in 10 to 15 years’ time,’ he said in new book

Brave New World, which is being serialised by the Mail on Sunday. ‘To build success you need time. It’s easy to go to Real. But winning at Tottenham is far greater, and he agrees. ‘Mauricio wants to be the main guy. And at this club, he can be. At some other clubs, the president is the main guy. But that’s not how it is here.’
