How do you reflect on your start to the season?

School report would say ‘could do better’. I don’t hide behind that. We have had some decent performances where we have not got the results we merited but there have been some where we have been fortunate to come away with a point. That’s football.

What’s the plan for Jamie Vardy now?

hE is fully fit to train daily. he has looked really sharp and if he was a horse you would just want to rein him back a bit. he has had the injections after the Bournemouth game. he was given a bit of time away because he wasn’t allowed to do anything but he has trained fully this week.

It’s 23 years since Leicester beat West Brom at home...

ThankS for that. The record against West Brom generally is not too bad. Maybe I won’t tell the lads home and away — just mention general.

You played more than 100 games for West Brom...

I had a great time there. It’s a club I grew up near so I watched the Jeff astle days, the Bobby hope days. I will still be trying to get three points. As told to JANINE SELF
