Clydesdale sued
ANGRY businessmen are suing Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banking Group for up to £1bn over claims they were sold toxic loans over more than a decade.
It is claimed more than 8,000 loan agreements included complicated interest rate swaps which were not properly explained. Claims firm RGL Management has outlined the details to the bank, and said legal action should begin next year.
The case will include allegations that the lender behaved fraudulently and dishonestly.
The bank said the allegations were not accepted and would be strongly defended.
