SHARES in broadband infrastructure firm CityFibre nudged up after it secured its biggest public sector project to date.
The £16m deal will see it supply broadband cabling across 506 Glasgow council sites including schools, libraries, leisure centres, arts venues and council offices.
CityFibre said the seven-year contract will be worth around £6.4m, growing to £15.7m if the agreement is extended to 19 years. Shares rose 0.9pc, or 0.5p, to 57.5p as a result.
