DESPITE the Cabinet chaos, one prominent figure’s position was steadfast – that of Larry the cat.

A spoof Twitter account for the 1 -year-old tabby announced ‘Larry remains cat’ yesterday, much to the relief of his fans.

The message was retweeted more than 3,500 times, making Larry the most celebrated figure of the reshuffle. Next in line was Jeremy Hunt, whose announcement paled in comparison with around 300 retweets.
