Kidman snubs her adopted children

-

nICOLe Kidman moved the crowd with her heartfelt Golden Globes acceptance speech, but once again raised eyebrows by leaving out her two adopted children.

While she expressed adoration for her two youngest daughters sunday Rose, nine, and Faith Margaret, seven, she failed to mention Isabella, 25, and Connor, 22, the children she adopted with ex-husband tom Cruise.

the move provoked immediate criticism on social media, with twitter user Clay Arnold writing: ‘nicole Kidman mentioned two of her children. But she has four. Why the slight?’ Another, danielle Rudy davis, wrote: every time she implies she only has two children, the mom in me cringes… hard.’

Miss Kidman, 50, who won the Best Actress award for her role in Big Little Lies, also paid glowing tribute to husband Keith urban, mother Janelle and sister Antonia.

After a kiss with her husband, she went on stage to say: ‘Keith urban, when my cheek is against yours, everything melts away and that is love. It’s true. I love you so much.’

she thanked her mother for her inspirational role. ‘My mama was an advocate for the women’s movement when I was growing up and because of her, I’m standing here,’ she said.

‘ My achievements are her achievements. Antonia Kidman, my sister, and I say thank you Janelle Kidman for what you fought for so hard.’

In her emmy acceptance speech last year for her Big Little Lies role, she also failed to mention Isabella and Connor.
