Jude Law’s ex Sadie: I’ve got rheumatoid arthritis at 52
She was the swinging Queen of the Primrose hill set but age is finally catching up with Jude law’s exwife Sadie Frost.
The former party girl and best friend of supermodel Kate Moss reveals she has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
in a post online from her trip to the himalayas this week, the 52-year-old ex-model writes: ‘every time i visit india i discover something new. i love the culture, philosophies & the faith.
‘it reminds me what is important for me. And being healthy is at the top of my list.
‘i have recently been diagnosed with early RA which can be quite painful. it’s silly because i blame myself but it’s mainly a genetic disorder and just happens when things degenerate then inflame.’
She is now trying to alleviate the symptoms by adopting an Ayurvedic diet and recommends natural remedies. ‘Up your omega 3, calcium, Vit C & D. Drink warm water, turmeric, black pepper, cider vinegar. Rub sesame oil into the painful areas. Don’t stress. Moderate exercise.’
Sadie married Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp when she was 22 and left him for hollywood heartthrob Jude law.
The decadent pair were mainstays of the Primrose hill set of actors, models and musicians that became a
byword for Nineties hedonism with their drinkanddrugs parties, and bedhopping. Sadie divorced Jude in 2003 after six years of marriage, allegedly following a ‘wifeswapping’ episode with designer Pearl Lowe and her husband, drummer Danny Goffey.
Sadie has one son, Finlay, 27, with Kemp, and three children with Law; sons Rafferty, 21, and Rudy, 15, and a daughter, Iris, 17.
Iris was only two when she was rushed to hospital after accidentally ingesting an ecstasy pill at a children’s party at Soho House in London.
After his divorce from Sadie, Law went on to get model Samantha Burke pregnant during a brief fling in 2008.
Jude, 45, later had another child with Irishborn aspiring singer Catherine Harding.
