Trudeau: Call us ‘peoplekind’
CANADIAN Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said people should use the word ‘ peoplekind’ rather than ‘mankind’.
Mr Trudeau, pictured, was hosting an event at MacEwan University in Alberta when a young woman asked him to look at changing legislation on charities ‘because maternal love is the love that’s going to change the future of mankind’.
In response, Mr Trudeau interrupted her and said: ‘We like to say peoplekind, not necessarily mankind, ’cause it’s more inclusive.’ He was later accused of ‘mansplaining’ feminism to the woman and taking political correctness too far.
