Reality TV star who’s planning Meghan’s wedding

HER closest family and friends are spread across the US and Canada. So Meghan Markle is turning to an unlikely source to help organise her Windsor wedding.

Prince Harry’s fiancee is making plans with reality TV star Millie Mackintosh, former wife of rapper Professor Green, after the pair become London-based best friends.

According to one royal insider, Miss Mackintosh, 28, has become so invaluable that some are predicting she could be chosen as a bridesmaid.

The development is the latest example of how the young and rich stars of Channel 4 reality show Made In Chelsea are forging surprisingly close links to the Royal Family.

Last year Pippa Middleton, sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, married hedge fund manager James Matthews – whose brother Spencer was the programme’s resident lothario. Spencer was best man at Pippa and James’s wedding, which was also attended by Kate, Prince William, Harry and Meghan.

Last week Spencer, 28, who counts Pippa’s brother James Middleton as a friend, announced his engagement to model Vogue Williams.

Meanwhile former Made In Chelsea star Chloe Green, daughter of retail tycoon Sir Philip Green, is friends with Princess Beatrice.

And Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie is friends with the programme’s Ollie Proudlock and once dated his costar Hugo Taylor – who is now engaged to Miss Mackintosh.

On top of all that, Prince William is on good terms with Miss Mackintosh’s ex Professor Green because he and the rapper share an interest in mental health issues.

Miss Mackintosh herself is said to have met Meghan, 36, shortly before the actress began dating Harry in July 2016, having been introduced by a mutual friend.

With the wedding due to be held at Windsor on May 19, the royal source said: ‘Some very knowledgeable people are saying she is actually being considered While I would as a personally bridesmaid. find that surprising, as members of the Royal Family tend to choose the children of their closest friends and relatives, Millie couldn’t have been more hands- on with helping Meghan organise the wedding so far. ‘They have a really close relationship and Millie has been a real source of support to Meghan during her move from Toronto and her new life in London.’ In the summer of 2016 the pair spent time at the Soho Farmhouse members’ club in Oxfordshire, with Meghan posting them and together several gushing: pictures on Instagram ‘The of best afternoon with Millie Mackintosh. So proud of you darling.’ Meghan has also cited Miss Mackintosh as one of her ‘go- to’ friends to exercise with, and both have their own fashion lines. Other bridesmaids at the wedding could include Princess Charlotte and Mia Tindall, four-year-old daughter of Zara Phillips.
