ENERGY-SAVING LIGHTBULBS
A STUDY published in the British Journal Of Dermatology in 2013 showed that some energysaving light bulbs — compact fluorescent lamps — emit measurable ultraviolet light, which can cause skin damage and redness, especially in people who have a predisposition to skin conditions such as heat rash. So switch to LED bulbs which, according to the scientists behind the study, don’t seem to emit UV radiation.
