PRETTY packaging alone isn’t enough to justify spending a lot on a blusher — but if the product inside really does the job, it is worth paying a little extra.

And make-up doesn’t get much prettier than this limited-edition Rosa Duchessa blush in Provocative from Dolce & Gabbana (£44, Harrods), a golden compact decorated with a vibrant pink rose design. It’s from the Dolce Garden Make Up collection for spring 2018, which is inspired by blooming roses.

The pink blush shades within suit all skin tones. Brushed on to the apples of the cheeks, there’s just enough shimmer to create a gleam that looks both natural and healthy.
