Blooming Kate gets check-up from the Prof
GLOWING in spring green, the Duchess of Cambridge looks the picture of health just weeks before she is due to give birth.
Her blooming figure even caught the eye of one of the guests at the event she was attending. Kate, 36, was greeted by Professor Sir Simon Wessely, president of the Royal Society for Medicine, who seemed pleased that she looked so well.
The duchess, who was wearing a bespoke coat and dress by Jenny Packham, was speaking at the society in central London yesterday. It was one of her last engagements before beginning maternity leave for her third child. She matched her outfit with £1,400 green amethyst earrings by Kiki McDonough, and Gianvito Rossi high heels, which cost £4 0.
Kate told a symposium of academics, professionals and charities about the importance of early intervention in children’s mental wellbeing. She said teenagers should be taught to be ‘childready’ before they grow up and have their own families.
