Victoria and friends bare all for breast cancer awareness

- By Laura Lambert TV and Radio Reporter

VICTORIA Derbyshire showed her racy side last night as she took part in a burlesque show to raise awareness for breast cancer.

The 4 -year-old, who had a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery after being diagnosed with the disease in 2015, was one of eight stars bravely baring all on the ITV show.

The celebrities, including Loose Women star Coleen Nolan, 53, whose sister Linda, 5 , is battling breast cancer, took to the stage in Sheffield City Hall for The Real Full Monty: Ladies’ Night, having earlier taken part in a Calendar Girls-inspired photoshoot. Starting the routine in full-length dresses, the group stripped to black lingerie before removing their bras.

And, in a moving finale, they each dropped the large red feathers protecting their modesty to bravely reveal their bodies to the 2,000strong crowd. Miss Derbyshire said she wanted to inspire other women to ‘check your boobs’.
