Hollywood and the 22-year-old lover who calls him Cake Cake
HE may be trying not to attract attention, but there’s no hiding the fact that Paul Hollywood is sweet on his young lover as they enjoy a romantic boat trip together in Mauritius.
The Great British Bake Off star is pictured for the first time with girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, who is 30 years his junior.
The TV presenter had secretly whisked the 22-year- old away on a luxurious tenday break in a villa at the £1,000-a-night Four Seasons.
After soaking up the scenery on the water, a doting Hollywood, 52, was seen helping his girlfriend, who was wearing a black strapless top, off the boat as they returned to shore.
And it seems the affection is mutual – Miss Monteys-Fullam, who reportedly grew close to the star after his 20-year marriage broke down last year, was apparently entranced by his striking blue eyes when they met at the pub where she worked as a barmaid.
A source said: ‘Like millions of other women, Summer is in love with Paul’s baby blue eyes. She says she loves how he makes her feel. Everyone is watching to see how long it lasts.’
Miss Monteys-Fullam has reportedly also given her lover a rather appropriate pet name. A source told the Sun on Sunday: ‘In their early days together, she had his number saved in her phone as “Cake Cake” which is her nickname for him.’ In one picture posted on her now-deleted Instagram account, she poses in a red swimsuit emblazoned with ‘Cake Cake’ in white writing.
Miss Monteys-Fullam has given other clues about their relationship on social media, with one post thanking her ‘amazing boyfriend’ for turning her ‘from a girl into a woman’ and saying she was ‘truly lucky’ to be with him. The pair continued their attempts to keep a low profile on their return from their secret getaway, when they were pictured leaving Heathrow airport separately. The former barmaid has also reportedly been staying with Hollywood at his secluded rented cottage in Kent.
Hollywood is understood to have met Miss Monteys-Fullam when he arranged a birthday party for his wife Alexandra at the Duke William pub in Ickham, Kent last year.
The presenter met his estranged wife, 53, with whom he has a son, in 1995 – the same year Miss Monteys-Fullam was born.
In a now-deleted Instagram post on New Year’s Eve, Miss Monteys-Fullam wrote: ‘I can only thank the people that are close to me. Including my amazing boyfriend. You have turned me from a girl to a woman … I love you so much! This post is not for likes but the love of my life.
‘I am truly a lucky girl and have the best things and people and animals around me.’
A representative for Hollywood had not responded to a request for comment last night.
