GABI TAYLOR has been called into the GB Fed Cup squad who will try to beat Japan to reach World Group level in the competition. Having soared 160 ranking places to a career-high 174 in just four months — winning four titles on tennis’s ITF circuit — Southampton-born Taylor, 20, replaces Katie Boulter to feature alongside Jo Konta, Heather Watson and Anna Smith. HARLEQUINS will enlist the help of the All Blacks in the search for a new boss after the sacking of John Kingston. Quins recently signed a ‘strategic partnership’ with the world champions, from whom they will request a list of potential names within the Kiwi system to take charge.
