Simon Pryce, 55 Incoming boss, Ultra Electronics

THE soon-tobe boss snapped up more than £ 80,000 of shares as defence and tech firm Ultra Electronics faces a corruption probe.

Simon Pryce bought 6,300 shares at 1273p each after the Serious Fraud Office announced a probe into its business conduct in Algeria.

Shares fell more than 4.6pc on Thursday, but recovered much of that fall yesterday. Pryce, a nonexecutive director of distribution firm Electrocomponents, becomes chief executive of Ultra in June.
