Aussie wins lotto twice in six days

STREWTH! A lucky Australian scooped two major lottery wins in the same week.

The unidentified man, in his 40s and from the Sydney suburb of Bondi, picked up $1,020,487 (£566,717) on Monday last week and then scooped another $1,457,834 (£809,594) on Saturday.

He said: ‘The chances of winning twice in such a short period of time must be nonexistent. I wish I had some advice to others on how to win the lottery, but I don’t.’

He said he will invest in some Sydney property, buy a car and ‘a holiday to Honolulu goes without saying’.
