Jobless son, 30 evicted from parents’ home

-

A JUDGE has ordered a 30-year-old man to move out of his parents’ home after he repeatedly refused.

Michael Rotondo, pictured, had been living rent free for eight years until his parents decided they had had enough.

They stopped talking after the parents sent college dropout Mr Rotondo five letters over 14 months ordering him to leave their £150,000 detached home in Camillus, New York. Each time he refused but now a judge has ruled that they can kick him out.

Mr Rotondo vowed to appeal and claimed his parents, Mark and Christina, both 61, had ‘harassed’ him.

He argued he is too busy to find work because he is currently fighting to win custody of his son from the boy’s mother.

Mr Rotondo, representing himself at the New York State Supreme Court, claimed he was entitled to live in the house for another six months. Justice Donald Greenwood praised his legal research but described this claim as ‘outrageous’ and issued an eviction order.
