Cath Kidston’s US chief

FAMOUS for its English styles, Cath Kidston has recruited a US businesswoman as chief executive.

Melinda Paraie, 55, spent ten years at handbag maker Coach and worked at US retailers Gap, J.Crew and Barneys.

She will move to London from the New York jewellery firm John Hardy.
