SURGICAL Innovations shares slumped after the medical technology company said it had supply delays.

The Aim-listed firm, which specialises in keyhole surgery instruments, said its distribution business, Elemental Healthcare, was having trouble getting products from Meccellis Biotech, a supplier.

The delays are expected to knock 10pc, or £1.25m, off fullyear sales. It said the issue will have ‘a continuing impact on revenues’. Shares crashed 13.7pc, or 0.5p, to 3.2p.
