Our best buys have changed

YOU may have noticed a change to Money Mail’s coverage of savings rates over the past few weeks.

Our new tables (below) have been designed so you get a much simpler guide. We have sifted through more than 1,000 accounts to name the top easy-access rates, one-year bonds, easy-access cash Isas and one-year fixed cash Isas.

For each category, we give one online and two branch accounts — the top rate and the best from a provider with a wide network.

Our easy-access accounts give you access to your money at all times. But we will keep you up-to-date with those that have restrictions or short-term bonuses, such as the new Skipton Super Tracker accounts (see main article, left).
