CANCER SURVIVOR WHO WENT TO DIANA’S SCHOOL
THE eldest of three children, Emily McCorquodale shared happy holidays on Richard Branson’s private island, Necker, with her cousins William and Harry. The mother-of-two, 34, is the daugher of Princess Diana’s older sister Sarah and is sister to George and Celia. While at university, Emily was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, but beat the disease. She met James Hutt on a blind date and they married in 2012, with Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in attendance. She worked for Savills estate agents before leaving to raise a family and work as office manager at James’s engineering firm in Cambridge. ‘Emils’ is a former pupil of West Heath in Kent, the same school her aunt, Princess Diana attended.
