Passports to terror

IN a wake-up call to all Europe, the Mail’s Investigations Unit today exposes the massive scale of the trade in stolen British and other EU passports, brazenly on sale in Turkey to anyone seeking illegal entry to the West.

The truth is that this potentially lethal black market presents an immense challenge to the coordinated efforts of every anti-terrorist and border agency, airline and shipping operator in these islands and on the continent.

Yet only last week, EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier threatened to end security cooperation with the Uk after Brexit. Is there no limit to the dangers he’s prepared to inflict on 500million EU citizens for the sake of punishing Britain for leaving?
