EE text scam

CROOKS are targeting customers of the phone network EE by sending fraudulent text messages purporting to be from the firm.

The message claims customers haven’t paid their bill this month, but is designed to steal their login details and financial information.

Action Fraud says customers should never open suspicious links or attachments.
