GOING into labour can be worrying at the best of times, but what if your baby decides to make its debut in the middle of nowhere, hundredsh of miles from the nearest hospital? As the uplifting documentary series following the highs and lows of midwifery in the Scottish Highlands returns for a second run, the first of three episodes follows the stories of three women whose dreams of a textbook delivery fall flat when labour fails to go according to plan. Hazel Inglis (pictured with Shelley Gill and Jessica and Shena Paterson with Hamish) is one of the midwives on hand to help with these very special deliveries.
