THE head of genetics at London’s Institute of Cancer Research has been made chairman of Astrazeneca’s science committee. Nazneen Rahman will also become a member of the nomination

and governance committee, the drugs firm said.

The Oxford University graduate was appointed as a director to the company’s

board in June 2017. An internationally-renowned expert in cancer predisposition genes, Rahman was paid £61,000 in the year to December 31.
