TAYLOR HACKFORD (otherwise known as Mr Helen Mirren) directs Jason Statham (pictured with Jennifer Lopez) as professional thieff Parker, double-doublecrossed by his team and left for dead. An unimpressed Parker goes after revenge, with a little help from Lopez’s sassy real estate agent. Good ideas, not all of them well-executed.

SYLVESTER STALLONE writes and directs this second sequel, a pristine time capsule of all things Eighties. There’s Survivor’s Oscar-nominated theme song, Eye Of The Tiger, plus an appearance by Hulk Hogan as a wrestling champ called Thunderlips, and The A-Team’s Mr T as young pretender Clubber Lang.
