CLARKE: I GET RACIST ABUSE WHEN I LOSE

BRITAIN’S Jay Clarke (right) has revealed he receives racial abuse on social media after defeats and admits he now finds it ‘normal’. Clarke, 19, set for a Wimbledon singles debut after being handed a wildcard, was beaten 6-4, 6-3 by fellow Brit Cameron Norrie at Eastbourne yesterday then spoke about being racially abused after losses. ‘It has happened every time I have played for the last two or three years,’ he said. ‘It is almost normal now. The first time, I was taken aback, but now you almost expect it.’
