Lanzini targets a return for Hammers early next year

WEST HAM’S Manuel Lanzini expects to be back in action at the start of 2019 after a serious injury to his right knee ruled him out of Argentina’s World Cup campaign. Lanzini, 25, wrote on Twitter that the operation ‘went really well’, adding, ‘Although I don’t want to set a date, I expect to be ready to play at the beginning of 2019.’ Meanwhile, the Hammers have been charged by the FA for failing to control their fans, who ran on to the pitch in the 3-0 loss to Burnley on March 10.
