Insurance discrimination

-

Well done with your efforts regarding rip- off travel insurance fees for people who have recovered from serious illnesses (Mail).

They are not the only ones being penalised. Prior to turning 65, i used to pay £45 for insurance for my wife and i. This has doubled to £90.

People are living longer due to a better lifestyle and diet. i am now 70 years old and my wife is 66 and we are fit for our ages (my own father lived to 94) and not overweight, so why should we pay more?

Yet just as we reach pension age, up go your premiums by 50 per cent or more. This is out of order and needs action to curtail this practice by all insurance companies, not just a few.
