We can’t wait for Wimbledon
LESLEY MILWARD, 45, owns a horse saddlery and feed business and lives in Nottinghamshire with husband Anthony, 47, who owns a grocery company. They have three grown-up daughters. Lesley says: Since buying our five-metre bell tent three months ago, it’s been the star attraction in the garden of our detached home overlooking the River Trent.
We enjoy throwing parties and the bell tent is an extension of our social life. We’ve fallen in love with it!
cone-shaped with a supporting pole, it is made from waterproof cotton canvas. it cost £600 from local business Bell Tent Boutique and is worth every penny. The distinctive shape makes it pretty to look at, and i wanted it to be a beautiful and luxurious haven inside. So, i’ve had a ball choosing cushions, throws, rugs and low indian-style wooden tables.
Ahead of Wimbledon i’ve stocked up on strawberries and champagne, which i intend to devour with my friends in the tent while our husbands watch the World cup in the house.
When my girlfriends visit, we’ll be found, as the sun goes down, lounging with a glass of Prosecco, putting the world to rights. The perfect place for a perfect evening.
