IN THIS heatwave, how high do you turn up the air-con? Andrew Castle says the men in the BBC’s commentary box at Wimbledon like it blasting out.

‘I decide whether it’s on or off,’ the former tennis pro tells me. ‘None of my fellow male commentators ever complains when I turn it on. It’s like in hotel rooms — the men want the duvet off and the air-con on, and women don’t. Men are always hot while women are always cold.’

Look out, Andrew, or you’ll soon have the BBC crying sexism.

FoR home decor, the first person Prince Charles rings is his sister-in-law, interior designer Annabel Elliot.

But Camilla’s younger sibling does not expect to hear from Meghan Markle when the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex move into a large apartment at Kensington Palace.

At a gala dinner for the Elephant Family charity, I asked Annabel if she would be helping Harry and Meghan with their new space.

‘No, I’m sure they’ve got their own decorator,’ she replied, adding a tip for good measure. ‘Colour! I’m not a white and beige person.’
