The smart set’s talking about... Getty dynasty heiress Isabel

-

AS AN heiress to not one but two superrich dynasties, it’s no surprise Isabel Getty is making waves on the social scene after returning from New York to London.

Her parents are Christopher Getty, whose oil tycoon grandfather Jean Paul inspired Hollywood film All The Money In The World, and socialite Pia, daughter of Duty Free billionaire Robert Miller.

Izzy, 24, is, however, determined not to become another ‘It girl’ and intends to prove herself as an artist and musician.

‘I’m exhibiting at Frieze, and there will be a private view at the British Summertime festival,’ she tells me. ‘It’s with Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin. It’s amazing to have my work exhibited with them.’

She studied music in New York after attending London’s £ 19,890- a- year Harrodian school. Describing her style as ‘indie-soul’, she releases an EP next month.

Just don’t call her the next Taylor Swift: ‘That’s definitely not my style. My music is more rock ’n’ roll,’ says Izzy (right).

Newly single after ending a four-year relationship with Greek doctor Diamantis Xylas, Izzy lives with her mother in Knightsbridge. ‘I’m looking for a place in Camden, but the rent is really expensive. I’m not buying — prices are ridiculous.’

When an heiress complains about house prices, we really do need to worry.
